Information technologies bring the same opportunities to the government as it does to the business. Analogous to e-commerce, which allows businesses to transact with each other more efficiently (B2B) and brings customers closer to businesses (B2C), e-government aims to make the interaction between government and citizens (G2C), government and business enterprises (G2B), and inter-agency relationships (G2G) more friendly, convenient, transparent, and inexpensive.
SoftLogistics currently provides the following solutions for our government clients:
1) EDI ¨C Develop software for the transmission of purchase orders, invoices, and payments according to industry EDI standards. We have particular experience in Medicaid interface, and HIPAA interface (EDI 835/837).
2) Business Applications ¨C Develop various web-based information systems for a government agency to interact with citizens or other agencies. Particularly, we have developed open frameworks, based on J2EE and .Net technologies, that allows us to quickly build and customize web-based management information systems for substance abuse, and developmental and disability management.
3) System Integration ¨C Integrate one agency's information system with its legacy systems, mobile devices, and other agencies' information systems.
